Ballet Theatre Ireland welcomes pupils from ages 3 years and upwards: all abilities, boys & girls. All classes are taught by the director with over 35 years experience teaching in many full-time state professional schools throughout the world with all of this professional knowledge and experience Mary brings to her students in a loving, caring,and nurturing environment. The school has a superb exam record with students gaining excellent results.

Registration for the season 2017 /2018
is now open.

Students are secured a place on a first come first served basis.
When classes are full then subsequent students will be put on a waiting list.

Achievements 2016 – 2017

  • Moved to the our new studios in Donnybrook Douglas.
  • Workshops with Stephen Brennan of Ballet Ireland, former student and professional dancer Kilian O’Callaghan, Paul Doyle examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance London.
  • Examinations of the Royal Academy of Dance grades and majors.
  • Summer dance intensive guest teachers Stephen Brennan, Christina Murphy, Laura Furlong.

Student Achievements

  • Tamsin Giltinan, Sofia Rea successfully auditioned for the Irish National Youth Ballet Junior company, Susan Timmons for the Senior company.
  • Robyn Lake secured a place at Jeffrey Ballet summer school New York.
  • Tamsin Giltinan, Sofia Rea, Hannah Holmes, Susan Timmons, Aisling Gavin are attending Irish Ballet Forum summer school Dublin.
  • Niamh Kehoe is going to Tring summer camp in London.

Exam results

  • 55% Merits and 45% Destinations, Royal Academy of Dance London.
